Soulwax and LCD Soundsystem are a match made in disco heaven. Every LCD track ought to get a Soulwax remix, not because they need it, but because the two versions would make a perfect set.
I’m sorry for missing this gem on Friday. LCD’s You Wanted A Hit gets the remix treatment, turning the 9 minute guitar-heavy track into a 7 minute bass-heavy track. Soulwax borrows some of Air’s synths (circa Sexy Boy) which is a-ok by me. Enjoy it on a lazy day.
