The starter track from Robyn’s Body Talk Pt. 1 was always the stand out for me. Not only is it much more minimal that the rest of the album, but Don’t Fucking Tell Me What To Do is humorous, playful and sarcastic. Using the already popular Twitter hashtag #killingme, Robyn fashioned a 3D interactive music video that begins with throwing Robyn’s distress-ers video-game style at the screen and ends up replacing the with Twitter feeds of Robyn fans using the #killingme hash tag. If you’re wondering how it works, the algorithm takes whatever word it finds before the string “is #killingme” or “are #killingme” so go ahead and play with it. I’m hoping that this is the first in a future trend of interactive videos. Plus you get to use your 3D glasses!
