Pearson Sound has put together an official refix of M.I.A.’s It Take A Muscle. You know something is correctly labeled a refix when you can barely recognize the original through the chopped up vocals and smooth bass. It’s pretty sweet. The Fader dropped a radio week a few days back, but here’s the full version. Don’t mind the ugly album art.
M.I.A.’s /\/\/\Y/\ has stood out as one of my favorite albums of the year. Although many people are omitting it from their year-end lists, it would stand near the top on mine. Nearly all of /\/\/\Y/\’s tracks have aged well enough over the past few seasons to fit amongst the M.I.A. classics in my collection.
