Single out April 4th. Debut album Man Alive available now.

Everything Everything stepped into Radio One’s Live Lounge on Tuesday to perform their single Photoshop Handsome as well as a fun cover of Rihanna’s Whats My Name. I must admit that there should probably be a photo of the band up there, but until they can look as good as Rihanna did during this Interview Magazine shoot, thats not going to happen. Everything Everything invited Soil In The Synth to remix their new single Photoshop Handsome. This version joins Sunday Girl‘s cover we found last week.

The band will be streaming tonight’s London show live, which you can tune into here. They begin at 9:10pm UK time, which is about 6:10pm over here.

There were so many fantastic releases this year it really was hard to narrow them down but I managed to pick the 20 absolute best. The remixes needed to not only sound good, but differ enough from their original forms as well.

Sunday Girl, or Jade Williams, put together a cover version of Everything Everything’s new single Photoshop Handsome. As a fan of the original track, I must say that Sunday Girl does a spectacular job at recreating it with a little electro-pop pizzaz. Photoshop Handsome (Sunday Girl Mix) – Everything Everything

In celebration of Brit it-band Everything Everything’s debut album Man Alive, I wanted to share my favorite track Photoshop Handsome from the LP. The album was released August 30th in the UK (grab it here if you have a Great Britain iTunes) but we’ll have to wait a little longer in North America. This should really be a review of the album, however due to my spectacularly rotten reviewing abilities, I’ll talk about a few songs instead. Happy?

When compared to the chaotic MY KZ, UR BF, Photoshop Handsome is more in line with the rest of the album in the sense that it stays strong past the chorus. MY KZ, UR BF has a spectacular chorus but loses some of its power through out the final few versus. Grum did an excellent job cleaning it up (it has literally been on repeat for weeks) while James Rutledge plays with the original’s obscurity. You really need to check out both remixes, they are absolutely spectacular.
