Since summer is officially over, days are getting shorter and the weather is colder, I put together a list of the 16 most popular tracks of the summer. This list is based purely on the most downloaded songs from the past few months. N*E*R*D, LCD Soundsystem, The Chemical Brothers, Mark Ronson and Boys Noize all share 2 spots each on the list, while Tiga gets 3 for his remixes of I Can Change and I Wanna Be Your Telephone and the Hey Today! remix of You Gonna Want Me. This has to be one of the most eclectic Hip-Hop/Pop releases we’ll see for a while. Crookers, Hot Chip, Yeasayer, Boys Noize, Nero and Starsmith all took turns at remixing N*E*R*D and Nelly Furtado’s latest Hot-N-Fun. Crookers is always a win, but hands down Boys Noize’s version is the best.
