I must say, I’m pretty impressed with myself for completing this. Here is 514blog’s Best Remixes of 2010. There were so many fantastic releases this year it really was hard to narrow them down but I managed to pick the 20 absolute best. The remixes needed to not only sound good, but differ enough from their original forms as well.

Miike Snow and special guest Delorean performed at Montreal’s Club Soda last night. The sold-out show was absolutely amazing, the band brought their a-game and played pretty much every track off their self-titled album. Highlights included (obviously) Black & Blue, Silvia and Animal, and the band finished with 2 new songs which gives me hope about new releases this year. I had always assumed that the Bloodshy & Avant duo would get their kicks out of an album and a tour then go back to their Toxic royalties.
The opener Delorean didn’t fail to impress either, the group performed a slew of tracks from their LP .

For all of you in the Montreal or those of you who are willing to make a trip out here to witness something amazing, April 2nd Miike Snow and Delorean will grace Club Soda with a surely outstanding performance. I’ve been waiting to see Miike ever since I missed their Osheaga performance last summer. Turns out their are touring with my new obsession Delorean. Unfortunately the show has sold out, but if you’re a monster fan I’m sure you can scalp a ticket or something. I’m going to start posting up info about shows in advance, as soon as I hear of them.
