Yeah, I'm waiting in my parked car so I can finish singing along to a Beyoncé song. What are you going to do about it? 12 hrs ago

I must say, I’m pretty impressed with myself for completing this. Here is 514blog’s Best Remixes of 2010. There were so many fantastic releases this year it really was hard to narrow them down but I managed to pick the 20 absolute best. The remixes needed to not only sound good, but differ enough from their original forms as well.

Duran Duran again makes an attempt to modernize their sound with some fantastic collaborations. (The “again” is referring to their far-from successful 2007 Red Carpet Massacre co-produced by Justin Timberlake of course.) Their new album All You Need Is Now was produced by Mark Ronson (love) and features Kelis and some Scissor Sisters on vocals. The track Safe (In The Heat Of The Moment) features Miss Ana Matronic so be sure to give it a listen. The album drops digitally on the 21st of December and then physically in February.

Hold up! Scissor Sisters have put together a music video for one of my favourite tracks of 2010, Night Work’s Invisible Light. The video is much more intense than than their pop-ier singles.

I was lucky enough to find a preview of Bryan Ferry’s LP Olympia today, and in celebration I wanted to post the album’s spectacular cover. Bryan Ferry recruits the one and only Kate Moss for the cover. The album features lead single You Can Dance, and Shameless which was also featured on Groove Armada’s Black Light. Other collabs include Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood, Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea, Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour, Primal Scream bassist Mani, and Scissor Sisters. Theres some adult contemporary in us all.
